Tin Roof Queue Jumper

I've got it.
I'm reading it.
All other projects must simply wait...
Except my own latest novel, of course. That will only go slower....

I've bought it, but I haven't been able to bring myself to read it yet.

I'm about 50 pages in, Steve. Katrina was surreal for me because it hit while I was visiting my cousin outside of Louisville. That's what I recall most, being away from home, thinking how that hurricane was destroying Mississippi even as I rode down I-65 in the rain. I had hoped Burke would write about this, and I'm always happy to see Clete again.

Strange that I'd just seen Wayne post about this today, and now you do. I want to get this, although I don't have it yet. Burke is a helluva writer.

When an eloquent and poetic man writes about such monstrous tragedy, the effect is like a sharp wire, twisted around the heart.

Back to my reading.

(Oddly, still managed 2000 words today)
